For 9 years President of the Flag Institute, dealing with flag related subjects at both national and international level. Still an active Flag Institute member, as an elected representative. Holder of two awards for services to the world of flags - Fellow of the Flag Institute, and Fellow of the International Association of Vexillologists (the only UK flag maker to be so honoured).
Owner of a unique reference library - thought to be the largest library of flag related books in private hands. If special flags are needed, such as historical flags - our information can help create the appropriate item. Flag books are also available for sale through Specialist Flag Services.
Widely travelled, experienced flagpole installer, found mainly at the sharp end of the business. Bob travels out from our main South West depot to all corners of mainland UK.
Both Robin and Bob have a great many years of experience in supplying, installing and maintaining flagpoles all over the UK.
This experience enables Specialist Flag Services to give personal and expert advice on flagpoles for every location, and for every use; including private houses, churches, municipal buildings, schools, village halls, hotels, pubs, business premises, airports, international events.
